Service Agreement

When you request and pay for an estimate or takeoff through our Site, you agree that:

• We will start work only after full payment is made and your project details are received.
• The turnaround time will be communicated after review of your plans and may vary based on project size and complexity.
• Estimates are provided based on the information and drawings you submit at the time of ordering.

Payment Terms

All services must be paid in full before work begins. Payments are processed through secure third party payment systems (such as Stripe or PayPal). We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Once we begin work on an estimate, refunds are not provided. If you cancel within 5 hours of confirming your order and making payment, you may request a cancellation and refund. After that period, work begins and payment is considered non-refundable.

Revisions

We base all takeoffs and estimates on the original drawings and project details you submit. If there is an error on our part, we will issue revisions at no cost within 90 days of delivery. Requests for changes due to new drawings, bid form changes, or additional scope may be chargeable.

Estimate Accuracy and Disclaimers

Our takeoffs and cost estimates are intended as guide tools to support your bidding and planning. They are not warranties, guaranteed prices, or final contract figures.

• Takeoffs are based on scaled drawings unless otherwise noted.
• Cost estimates use industry data and average zip code pricing. They do not include specific company overhead, custom product prices, or unique labor conditions.
• Actual material and labor costs can vary. We recommend you review all pricing before final use.

Assumptions Policy

We do not perform value engineering or base estimates on assumed conditions except where necessary. Any assumptions made will be clearly noted in your deliverable.

Client Responsibilities

• You must provide complete, legible project drawings, specifications, and scope details.
• You are responsible for reviewing your estimate, including assumptions and notes provided.
• Any discrepancies must be reported promptly so we can review and revise if appropriate.

Intellectual Property

All reports, takeoffs, calculations, and related documents provided to you remain the intellectual property of Roofing Estimating Services unless agreed otherwise in writing. You may use them only for the intended project or internal review.

Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and project information. Unless you agree in writing, we will not share project details with external parties except as required to complete your service or by law.

Limitation of Liability

Roofing Estimating Services is not liable for project outcomes, direct, indirect, or special damages, including lost profit or delays, arising from your use of our estimates or services beyond the cost of the original service fee.

Changes to Terms
